Author Information / Description
The 1308FTP-Server is a simple ftp server with minimum system requirements. It's also freeware. :)
It allows to map any path or drive to a virtual path with access rules and user
groups. Each group file (*.grp) must be in the folder where the server is run from
and will be loaded. A user must only be contained wihtin one group, otherwise access
rules might not taken into account as wished !!! The server could be configured by doule-
clicking on the tray icon, setting the things wanted and restart from within this dialog.
Just for your info, the server itself and every clients runs in it's own thread, so it should
also support muliprocessor systems nicely.

This archive is an almost-complete reconstruction of the legendary Mega Security (also known as Kobayashi), a premier 90s-era "Trojan Database" where malware authors once showcased their work. After a decade offline, the site was brought back in August 2024 by its original creator, MasterRat, who authorized the Malware Gallery to host this modernized, searchable version of the collection. While the original site remains available for those seeking a nostalgic, old-school experience, we are proud to continue its legacy here. Full credit and thanks go to MasterRat and the retired Mega Security staff for their years of dedicated work in cataloging these historical samples.
