pentest.V1.1 is a remote administration tool that operates over http. Any
standard web browser (IE, Firefox, ...) can be used to perform a wide
range of operations on the machine running pentest.V1.1:
* naviguate through the disk and network drives
* see the user's desktop, send keys and mouse events
* download, upload or delete (shred) any file
* execute arbitrary commands in a given directory
* display and kill currently running processes
After starting pentest.V1.1.exe, simply connect to port 80, for example:
http://192.168.1.88
You can also specify another port to listen on, like 65000:
C:\TEMP>pentest.V1.1 65000
This archive is an almost-complete reconstruction of the legendary Mega Security (also known as Kobayashi), a premier 90s-era "Trojan Database" where malware authors once showcased their work. After a decade offline, the site was brought back in August 2024 by its original creator, MasterRat, who authorized the Malware Gallery to host this modernized, searchable version of the collection. While the original site remains available for those seeking a nostalgic, old-school experience, we are proud to continue its legacy here.
