Author Information / Description
In this beta I have added quite a few features than the last beta. In this beta please
test all features as a few problems may have come up(I hope not). Also please check the
spelling of all tool tip texts, also if there is no tool tip text for anything include it
in your report please. Also do a thorough check of the encryption features as I have
not tested them properly yet.
To connect to the server your client has to be on port 3723 (I know the default is 37237)
and when asked for a password you need to use "4" (with out the inverted commas).
All files in package are packed with upx 1.07
Know Issues
Sometimes it is possible to make the server not accept any more connections on a
certain port, even after a server restart. To solve this problem you need to change
the server port or restart your computer.
Thank you for beta testing

This archive is an almost-complete reconstruction of the legendary Mega Security (also known as Kobayashi), a premier 90s-era "Trojan Database" where malware authors once showcased their work. After a decade offline, the site was brought back in August 2024 by its original creator, MasterRat, who authorized the Malware Gallery to host this modernized, searchable version of the collection. While the original site remains available for those seeking a nostalgic, old-school experience, we are proud to continue its legacy here. Full credit and thanks go to MasterRat and the retired Mega Security staff for their years of dedicated work in cataloging these historical samples.
