Fearless Web Downloader Version 1.1
===================================

Just a simple downloader, that comes with an easy to use editor. Downloader is written in ASM, and the editor in Delphi. This version has a reduced downloader file size - 3.5kb. Probably the smallest downloader you will see when compressed...

How to use:-
===========
* Open the editor.exe
* Select your webdownloader file, webdl.exe
* Click 'Read settings'
* Set your download path and startup names
* Click 'Write settings'
* If you want to reduce the downloader size, then click 'Compress' and select your webdl
* Now send the webdl.exe to your victim and upon execution your file should be downloaded and then run. - Usually a trojan server

Version History:-
================
1.1
* Webdl reduced to 3.50kb
* around 1.95kb compressed with fsg

1.0

* Change startup/download filename
* 4kb uncompressed webdl file

This archive is an almost-complete reconstruction of the legendary Mega Security (also known as Kobayashi), a premier 90s-era "Trojan Database" where malware authors once showcased their work. After a decade offline, the site was brought back in August 2024 by its original creator, MasterRat, who authorized the Malware Gallery to host this modernized, searchable version of the collection. While the original site remains available for those seeking a nostalgic, old-school experience, we are proud to continue its legacy here. Full credit and thanks go to MasterRat and the retired Mega Security staff for their years of dedicated work in cataloging these historical samples.
